Originally a guitar/vocals duo formed early '08 to sing covers of songs we liked, The Pegasi gained a bass player and focussed on writing some original content. Preliminary recordings for a possible 'album' have been uploaded, and work shall continue on writing/recording original songs.

A first-time recording, the song is pretty much finished, however the recoding is mostly preliminary - for one, it has no drums (yet), and the bass is actually a 6-string with the pitch modified down an octave. If anyone has read the 'Dark Tower' novel series, that's where the inspriation for this is for. This song follows the most usual lineup, with Ellie on vocals, Claude bass and Pat guitar.
Femme Fatale
A slightly dark and racy track penned by Claude, this also features her on vocals, swapping with Ellie who goes to bass and Pat now on acoustic guitar,
which is then used upsidedown as a 'drum' to provide some percussion.
Final Goodbye
This song originates in 2004, the first proper attempt at composing by Pat while finishing year 12. The guitar and synth drum clicks were recorded then,
and now vocal tracks laid over the top by Ellie around four years later.
The Monkey Song
If Heroes is in the stype of Cowboy Reggae, then Bass-driven Jungle Party Rock is a fitting genre for this King/King composition - make sure you sing and improvise along with the chorus!
Too Far Gone
Written in an attempt to emulate the British sound, this is a reflective song featuring an extended solo in the middle. Credit of the lyrics to Bodie Ashton, with Pat providing the music - eventually the recording will hoepfully be boosted by the addition of drums.
We Can Feel It!
First ever guitar, bass and voice 3-part recording by the Pegasi, all done on a laptop and unfortunately with much static, but the feel of the song is definitely still there. In need of a drum, but see what you think of the tune. Thanks also to Thuc for the chorus + idea the for song.
Less Ordinary
The most complete song so far, as it only requires voice and one guitar - below is the first ever recoding attempt - eventually her/she lyrics will be changed to him/he, and the guitar parts need some re-recording/levelling, but we hope you enjoy it! As with Too Far Gone, this is another Ashton/Coleman collaboration.
Nothing
A charming, laid-back shorter song about nothing, mixing a cut-back tune with intriguing lyrics, packed with references. Claude here features on vocals, with bass this time played by Pat, and Ellie on rhythm acoustic guitar and guitar-percussion, all instruments were done in a single take.
